The sky darkened with a mass of foreboding, grey clouds that covered the face of the sun and the expanse of blue around it, turning the land into monochrome greys. The presence of the dark clouds preceded the snow that began to fall, its pace picking up and chasing the forest creatures back into their homes. The wind sent the snow flying sideways and anyone left in the open would find themselves blinded by the snow, or at least pelted relentlessly by the snowflakes. It wasn't the ideal experience for anyone out in the snow and anyone wise would seek shelter from the weather.

One of said forest creatures had found his way into a large, abandoned cave that provided shelter against the relentless snow. The beast was a massive figure with thick musculature held up by a broad frame. A pelt of thick fur covered him, making his already large frame appear larger, especially the thick, fluffy ruff that stretched from his neck and past his shoulders. A sharp pair of sabres extended from his top jaw which made his species clear, a sabretooth. A thick-furred tail laid flat against the stone floor as the beast sat down, crouched over something that he was working on.

A small fire crackled as it danced over dry logs, providing warmth but more importantly for the beast, light. His red eyes were focused on his paws as he painstakingly weaved flower stems together. Pink and white flowers that bloomed in the snow had been gathered by the beast to make into a flower crown. Upon his head was a wilting white one that was in dire need of replacing. Flowers were not the only ornaments decorating his body; a plethora of feathers were woven into his mane, many of which were brightly colored and stood out from his cream and brown ruff.

Perses silently thanked the kindly, old feline that taught him how to create a fire a moon ago. It was a very useful skill to possesses and while his thick fur was more than adequate protection, extra light was welcomed while he worked. The beast had learned about the art of making flower crowns from another loner, a younger one, and it had had a profound effect on the dark-faced feline. He always had an appreciation for the beauty of the world and being able to wear beautiful things was an added bonus.

The oversized sabretooth loved flowers and he quickly became enamoured with the concept of wearing them. Winter made it difficult to come across flowers but thankfully there were flowers that bloomed in defiance of the cold. The ones the giant had found were his favorites out of the few options he had and he was eager to replace the wilting white.

The young titan was ever so gentle as he wove the stems together, utterly focused on the task at hand.

(Ooc: I’m sorry to cut this short, but I had other things happening!)
The crackle of a fire rustled in her ears. Bloodbird turned her head and she stopped bounding through the snow covered grass. The rabbit she had been chasing sprung away, her paws kissed the ground just enough to make a crunching noise as she ran towards the river. The sound came from the other side, Bloodbird backed up and flung herself onto the other side. She landed safely on the other side. From there she was met with a large cave, with a medium sized plain in front of it with flowers. Her eyes grazed across the grassy  plain, she caught the site of a large Sabre’s side the cave. Bloodbird didn’t wanna bother the Sabre because he seemed busy so all she did was walk up to him,sit and watch what he was doing. It seemed rude, and she felt bad.
Her eyes widen when she realize what he was doing was making… a flower crown? Or a bracelet? She didn’t know, but Bloodbird  didn’t say anything either, she didn’t want to break his concentration. Bloodbird’s ears twitched in amazement at how fluently he wove the flower stems together.

“Very nice, sir.” Bloodbird said with a smile

She looked around for any remaining flowers. A white and yellow flash caught her eyes. A daisy.
She jumped over to it, plucked it, and set it at his paws. It seemed foolish, getting for him. But it didn’t bother her too much. Bloodbird looked around one more time. A small purple flowers swayed in the wind and snow. Bloodbird ran over to it, plucked it and started it down on top of the daisy.
