#5a4872 With the light of the afternoon fading at a glacial pace, and the heat of the day being absolutely sweltering it was truly a treat that the leggy female was able to find a tree to rest against that provide a little bit of relief. The wolfdog had been on her own ever since the collapse of her home, her family scattered to the four winds and Bea wasn't exactly sure if any of them were still left. Errez had always been a sore spot to think about, how many times had she lost her home? Yet it still felt like a fresh wound in her mind to look back on. But she had chosen to not let this beat her, the fall of their pack, her family. It would not be the end all be all. Beatrisa still had a life to live, and she'd keep on kicking just to spite this cruel world. It's the way her siblings would have wanted it, her father, her...mother. "Yo vivo por mí." She mumbled softly under her breath, head resting against the tree trunk as ocean blue eyes glanced up to the boughs that were covered in purple petals. "Oh wow!" It was spoken breathlessly as a breeze rustled through the trees and petals drifted through the air. With the strong scent of flowers came another however, something familiar to only those who lived in packs before. Musky... it made her nose crinkle up in displeasure. That's pack borders all right, pulling herself to her feet she'd give her tri-colored coat a good shake and would then follow the scent. Only when it got intensely strong did she stop, eyeing what lay beyond, but not daring to trespass the imaginary boundaries. A strong breeze once more rustled the trees and grass as if ushering her inside. Hmm, what was it that someone once said? One door closes another one opens? Right? In any case, she didn't really linger too much on the idea, always impetuous and so it was no surprise that the wolfdog threw back her head and released a rather pitchy cry for summons and then waited to see. When someone did finally arrive, the sky fading from peachy pinks and oranges to a soft periwinkle dotted with the first begins of an evening's sky. Beatrisa tilted her head, curly tail wagging behind her and a smile tugging at her black lips. "Yo! Buenas tardes! Or uhhh, good evening now I guess. What's this place called?" |

"Yo! Buenas tardes! Or uhhh, good evening now I guess. What's this place called?" The King of Shields had been nearby when the odd cry startled him, intending to wander toward the beach with his girls. He'd motion to Xenia for them to continue, pressing a kiss to her cheek and a smile to the babies. Body shifting toward the border to inspect what made that sound. The sentries were capable, but this evening Ghost's curiosity lead him with the peach sky behind him, toward indigo. "Inaria." A crisp voice responded, quietly as to not startle what appeared to be a very cheerful female standing on the musky line. Large male stepping out from the petals drifting by, single ear forward. Fur patterns were interesting, nothing Ghost had seen. Pure whites, tans, bright blue eyes... A curled tail? This was no wolf, there was something else in her blood that gave her a unique appearance. Curiosity regarding her heritage perked in the back of the King's mind. Squinting at the language she'd used before hand, "What brings you to our borders? Name?" remaining standing, he couldn't help up glance upward toward the sky with his eyes. Chin tucking down. A nice evening, warm enough to stroll to the beach or ponds, or even head to the stream to fish. Where his family was spending time together. Attention shifted back to her sharply, waiting for her answers. |

#5a4872 Her attention would drift back to the trees and the sweet scent of them, strange, she never knew that purple trees were actually a thing, it was the first time she'd seen them anyway. Then again, this world was full of wonderful little surprises and just as she was admiring the blossoms, her ear twitched and wide eyes catch the form of someone who spoke out. The gal nearly jumped out of her skin, ears pulling back as she rose her brows at the figure. "¡Oye! ¿Cuál es la gran idea asustándome así?!"" Firing off until she REALLY saw him. "Oooh..." Blinking, once, twice, three times. He was HUGE. "Grande guapo...." Get it together girl! You're practically drooling!! "I- I!! I mean, Inaria?! That's a nice name for a pack." Nice save. The need to raise her paw to her face was almost too great. He squinted at her and her brows knit together, had she done something wrong besides.... well, ugh. "I was looking around at first, then I caught wind of your borders, kinda hard to miss. Afternoons have strong breezes around here, haha. I was wondering if I could join?" Eyes glittering with the first inklings of hope, a small smile found it's way upon her lips. "Beatrisa, by the way." Words heavily accented with Spanish inflections, the breeze picking up once more to lightly tussle her fringe of white curls. "You gonna tell me your name? Or am I gonna have to start guessing?" Smile growing wider as she did her best to suppress a chuckle. Her nerves trying to make the best of this situation, it helped that this guy was nice to look at too. |

Ghost apparently somehow appeared from no where to this girl, despite his huge size and attempting the exact opposite of startling her. She jumped a figurative foot in the air, and Ghost watched with his eyes sudden wide as he tensed. "¡Oye! ¿Cuál es la gran idea asustándome así?!" Her bright eyes then shot up and down him, spewing the language he didn't understand, eyes averted her for a second before landing back down on her amused. "Oooh... Grande guapo.... I- I!! I mean, Inaria?! That's a nice name for a pack." Right... Her accent was interesting, and Ghost sat himself down to bring himself more to her height level but it really didn't help. Still looking down to her, "It's a historic pack." adding as he adjusted his thick legs, his only remaining ear twisting toward her as that interesting voice came again, and his face feeling hot from the way she looked at him. "I was looking around at first, then I caught wind of your borders, kinda hard to miss. Afternoons have strong breezes around here, haha. I was wondering if I could join? Beatrisa, by the way.You gonna tell me your name? Or am I gonna have to start guessing?" Another warm breeze blew his tuft of hair back away from his face, it settled backward into a mohawk and stayed there. "A pleasure Beatrisa, I'm King Ghost, and you're in luck. We can discuss your desire." Probably should have added more to that sentence, but it went right over his head. "Inaria is a place of peace, and I will not tolerate anyone coming in to disrupt that. What can you bring to Inaria? Why would you fit our community? Why should I grant you access to this Family? Where did you come from Beatrisa?" Stern gaze watching her curiously, intrigued by her, where did she come from? |

#5a4872 "I like history! In my packs??? I'm a big fan of learning about old stuff." Jesus, the moment those words flew from her mouth she instantly recoiled, who says that??!! WHO??!! Her paw raising up to press against her forehead as her eyes scrunched closed. "I'm making such a mess of this, goddamn." She mumbled under her breath, stop being such a spaz. It's going to be alright. We're calm, we're cool. Taking a deep inhale and then exhaling, it helped her nerves if only a bit. Ocean eyes would settled back onto him as he spoke her name and she gave him a smile, though it melted into one of horror and surprise??? Maybe a little 'ohhh yaaaaas'. "K-King??!! KING?!! Like ROYALTY???!" Bea's mouth fell agape, paws dragging across her face. "¡Oh Dios mío! Me hice ver como un idiota frente a ti." Claws raked through her thick cheek fur as Beatrisa cradled her head in her paws. "Solo desterrarme ahora, salvarme la vergüenza" Expression positively mortified by this entire exchange. Goodbye future boyfriend, who is also a KING??!! WOULDA BEEN NICE TO KNOW. She snapped back quick though at the mere mention of Inaria, as if her whole embarrassment debacle had never even happened. Ears pulling back and she frowned at him for a moment. "I wouldn't hurt your pack." The wolfdog spoke softly, true he didn't know her from a can of paint, but it did sorta irk her that people would just assume. Then again she also didn't know this place, or the pain that came with it. "I'd do anything that needs to be done though. I'm strong and a fast learner, in my old ho-... I was just as hard a worker in my old pack, I mean." A pain resonated in her chest, a dull ache that echoed even now with it's shallow waves. Family? Brows furrowed and her lips quivered as she scrunched her eyes tightly to save for any strange tears to take her by surprise. "It's not something I like talking about. My old home was ruined twice over, I'd like to think of us as a resilient people. The family I come from was strong, or so I thought. Years of betrayal broke them, and the hardships only increased. My old pack, my FAMILY, Errez." Eyes flashed open and she hitched a sob in her throat, blinking away the tears desperately trying to form. "They didn't make it, but I'm still here, and I have to live with that. EVERY. DAY. OF. MY. LIFE." Eyes focused upon Ghost's. "We lost our land because of wolves pretending to be pirates." She bit back bile, but he'd still hear the bitterness and anger in her voice. Tortuga, they were the final nail in her brothers' coffins, the last bit of Errez and its spirit fell with them. "I have no home left, my siblings scattered or dead." Her voice a soft mumble, the fire in her eyes a mere smolder now. "But, I want those things again. I want a home and a family. A place where I can belong too! I'll do whatever it takes, I'll do any job. Anything, your Majesty." Blue eyes pleaded for him to understand. "Please." |
