Margaret
She/her
Almost Sparkles

A
round the middle of the afternoon and Margaret had already made about five pit-stops for a quick rest. It wasn't fun being disabled, but she sure as hell didn't look like it sometimes. She had a reoccurring dream the last few nights. A dream that kept calling for her to come this way. That perhaps she had a destiny here. She didn't know much about packs other than their territories, in which she was used to being a lonesome tigress. No more of that- she wanted a pack, or a pride, anything familial-like. And this is where her dream urged her to go. Finally, after a whole day of traveling with her stiff hind legs, she found... mountains. Her dream didn't tell her about this.
With a loud huff and some curses, she would pace around and wonder if it would be worth it. At first she gave up, turned around and slipped into the forest outside Nardir's territory. Margaret doesn't give up so easily for long, however. Throughout the whole night, after plenty of slips and struggles with her uncoordinated hind legs, she finally finds a way high enough up a mountain to look into the wondrous sight below. She couldn't help the small smile creep upon her lips as she excitedly began to heave her way down now, into the valley and suddenly in the dark of the woods. Being a three-foot-ten tiger, she wasn't so scared of anything in the forest. Her only fear was obviously being in a pack's territory now, and was completely unsure as to how things were meant to go. Anxious, she worked up her courage to at least get out of these dark woods. As morning rose, she followed a path to a much brighter forest. She thoroughly enjoyed the birch trees, wondering how she could fashion it into some of her crafts. Margaret is disabled, sure, but she is a prodigy when it comes to smithing, inventing, leather and wood crafts, etc. Nothing about her body showed her disability- only if she is mobile will many see her hind legs obviously uncoordinated most of the time, and having jerky movements sometimes. An incomplete spinal cord injury wasn't something she was ever comfortable talking about. She has some feeling in her hind legs, but not much. Often times if she stands or runs for too long, they will go numb. Despite this, she still has great posture and muscle tone, and not to mention her fiery personality if things get dangerous. Taking in her surroundings once more, she realized that this is just like what her dream showed her... the bright and beautiful trees, and in the distance she could see meadows which had her eyes absolutely glittering with awe. She could make some very gorgeous jewelry and the like with all those flowers. Notes: |

From Queen to Dog and Back Again

It was like a weight was lifting slowly from her shoulders. She now had a job, and was stretching mental muscles that had long gone unused. Sansa had informed her that she would be hidden nearby should Mercury have need of her, but the Dark Moon did not think she would require the Hydra's help. Mercury had once made these rules, after all, and it really wasn't so different now as it had been back then. With an ease and confidence that came naturally to her, she trotted along the border, scanning for newcomers.
While more strictly a Jovian Wind duty, a Parallax did occasionally preform acceptances, and it was prudent that Sansa know she was still capable. She was determined not to be disappointing, and overall Sansa would find her humble, hard working, and intuitive. Mercury was practically putting herself through the paces. She had learned the borders and landmarks of Nardir, and now she would be bringing in new assets, and filtering out possible dangers. It was an important task. It was not long before she found a candidate, and was only mildly surprised it was feline. Nardir did not have a prejudice of species, and had occasionally had felines in their midst before. Mercury checked her speed and ambled up towards where the tiger stood. She made her stride leisurely, rather than fast, and her expression was curious, rather than aggressive. Stopping a fair distance to give her visitor some space. "Well met! I am Mercury. "She called, and inclined her head politely towards the tiger. "And this is the realm of Nardir." ☿
