[Leviathan]

Baby deer were not so clever, and not so fast when separated from their mothers and their herd. It was Leviathan's lucky day, it seemed, as he dragged the dead thing closer to home to dig into. Maybe on his own, maybe to share with whatever oh so important family member was around. He flopped it down near the steps of the old crumbling building, licking his teeth only half lean of blood and flopping down. With no one around so far, he let himself dig in, only getting through one and a half mouthfuls before he spotted a figure sulking around at the corner of his eye.

When he turned his head, he recognized it as is half brother, one he had no seem around so much, but figured was quite similar in temperament to his sisters. He seemed a little mellowed out, though. Maybe sad? Troubled, would be the best word, beat down. Despite not always understanding the feeling, Leviathan knew what to look out for. It made a clicking noise as he licked more blood off, to get Oleander's attention.

"Why the long face?" the phrase seemed foreign on his lips, just like the struggling smile. "Someone grounded you, baby brother? Is that enough to make you look so defeated?" he teased, trying to ease some sort of explanation or reaction out of the other black and white boy. After a moment of contemplation, no matter what the other's reaction was to his teasing, he motioned to the little dead deer.

"Hungry? Come here, I'll share. Maybe I'll tell you a secret. Maybe as a trade for one of your's. Does that sound fair?" His voice was even, if not a little curious, but with no ill intent or motif. If anything, Leviathan was offering an ear to the other's troubles, if only for a short amount of time. If Oleander was to agree, leviathan would motion him to go on, dark, wide open eyes staring at his little brother intently.
