Slowly, but surely Karma could feel her mind slowly changing. Not a lot, she still loved her games, flirting with everyone and teasing. Although, her beliefs were changing. She's been locked in the temple for a couple of days? Weeks? Karma couldn't really remember, all she knew was that those annoying priests were starting to get into her head. Their words of gods and faith running rampid through her mind. Like a song that she couldn't get rid of, that was stuck on repeat. Nothing able to get the lyrics of life out of her life, her mind refusing to let it's grip loosen it's hold.

She was beginning to believe in something that she once thought was just a childs story.

Bright Jade colored eyes stared lazily into the water as it flowed by. Today, Karma lazed her day away by a stream. Her baby sitter not far off keeping an eye on her. She's been good, she's always good, but she's been slowly but surely molding, or well memorizing the termonology that's being used in this pack. Picking up little things here and there after every session with a priest. She blinked as a leaf fell into the water. The waves in the water matching what she was thinking, or at least how her brain waves were acting. Every new piece of information slowly repeating it's self in her head over and over again.

Slowly, Karma closed her eyes and stuck her nose up in the air as a cool gust blew by. Fall was here, finally fighting off the warm wind of winter. The cool refreshing scent of dyeing leaves filling her nose and tickling as it registered in her mond. As well as the, wait, was that a new scent?
Opening her eyes, Karma looked around herself as she tried to find who owned that scent. Then looked behind herself and jumped a little as she saw a wolf she's not met yet coming her way.

The sound of the haast eagle in the skies heralded her entrance. It’s cry, forlorn and haunting, seemed to echo the general aura of the wolf that wandered. Her expression was settled, filled with the twisting shadows the horror of war often left behind, but it was more than that, more than the slight flicker of her gaze or the tension that threaded her muscles. More than the missing, the dead, the forgotten, and the aches of those that had lost more than just their pride.

It was more than the brokenness of their empire, crumbled and seething.

It was a wriggling thirst, a nagging hunger, a roll of bile that twisted her stomach in knots and left her with an urge she found impossible to shake. It rattled about her mentality like a ominous song and broke through her consciousness like all the glass and flame that had broke across her muzzle.

So why, why she did she want more of that? More pain. More suffering. More poison spreading like thin tendrils across their secluded wounded forever home?

She wanted to pluck at the strings of stability and tear them asunder, inspiring wild unnatural change. She wanted to shed her skin and muscle and bone and ascend to the skies above them—

Is this what it felt like then? To yearn? To feel out of control after an intense experience?

She wished she could see her again, those gleaming eyes—

But now was not the time to dream or wonder. There was work to be done, so much work…

So she croaked out, in husky voice and a numb tongue toward the closest body, the one who’d been resting.

Good day, child.

Because they had to start somewhere.

A cold chill ran down Karma's spine as she looked at the woman that was approaching her. Those cold blue eyes looked like ice. Like pools that would let you drown in their depths if one was foolish enough to fall in. This, may be a dangerous battle if Karma wasn't careful. She may, be out of her league.

Her right ear twitched ever so slightly as she listened to some bird above making a sound. It's cries echoed through the area, giving the young wolf chills as if winter was wrapping it's cold hand around her throat and squeezing it.
Frightened, that's how Karma felt right now. This wasn't Garrison, or that other slave that she met. No, this was another member that actually sent chills down her spine. How, intrigueing.

"Good day, ma'am." Karma replied, her worlds quiet mixed with a little uncertainty. She didn't know what sort of standing this woman had over her. She could be a slave with a strong presence, or she could be one of those Rose things that supposedly rule the pack. Karma didn't know, but she was sure she will sooner rather then later.

Slowly, Karma stood from her little resting spot by the water and turned to fully face the beautiful beast that was approaching her. Jade eyes looked over the beast, such a beautiful specimen. "To whom do I owe the pleasure of meeting?" Karma asked the beauty, her voice soft and kind. She needed to play nice so that she didn't step on any toes and get herself in trouble.
