Stilted legs wadded into the swamp, the satchel for her herbs were strapped to her sides. Her tail were raised up, seeming to glide over the waters in places. In some parts of the swamp she was forced to swim, it was good she had a hold on the top of the bag. Standing up from swimming further she walked towards one of the trees, looking for a specific herb that could help with coughs. Ears lifting as she dug through the dirt near the base of the tree, shaking the water still clinging to her coat she dug even more. A strange sound reached her ears, freezing at the sound of moving her head snapped up. Red and green orbs looking around nervously, flexing her paws she looked at the tree she now stood before. Hesitating she bunched her muscles and leaped up, claws slid out to help her climb as she made her way up. Padding along the branch she kept her tail spread so she wouldn't fall, trotting a few more she stopped and dropped down. The earth sucked her legs in, making her stumble. Hissing she pinned her ears back and pulled her paws free, slowly she walked forward trying to track the sound she heard.

Lowering her body to the ground she rapidly walked forward, her legs were bent keeping her body close yet not fully touching the earthen base. Her soft gaze locked on the area around her, something moved close by forcing her to freeze. Heart beating hard in her breast she slowly lifted herself up, her back end lowered in readiness for her to run. Keeping her ears back she peeked over the log she had paused by, her blue, red, and green eyes gleaming with curiosity as she looked over the rough bark. Nostrils flaring as she smelled around, whining softly she slowly sank back down and kept moving. Lifting herself from the crouch a bit she kept her body aligned with the tree that had fallen, her legs carrying herself quickly. Stopping again she paused long enough to jump up on a log, her claws sinking into the bark as she lifted her large ears. No sounds came to her, confused she jumped down the other side.
