The winds blew through the conifers, sending pine needles falling to the ground as a pair of felines padded through the snow. A female snow leopard padded in the front, her tan fur making her stand out from the snowy backdrop Her blue eyes glinted in the sun and she moved with grace only fitting of a feline. A pair of goggles were pushed up on her forehead and she carried a satchel that carried all of her belongings and wore a blue bracelet that matched her eyes.

Behind her was a much larger beast, more than twice the female's height and many times her weight. His fur was a cream and dark hues that created a darker hued shaddle over a lighter base with white marking his chest and back. He bore very different additions to his already large frame with several fins around his head, a long tail, and a pair of non-functional wings that his sister shared. While his sister walked with grace, he was buzzing with energy that manifested itself in graceless side-to-side bounds fitting of someone half his age. He carried a much larger satchel at his side and wore a couple pieces of jewelry like his sister.

"What a day! What a lovely day!" Ikaika exclaimed as he bounded through the snow, looking and sniffing at everything they came across with a puppy-like enthusiasm. He took care to stay behind the invisible line created by his sister as she preferred to be first for some weird reason. He didn't care too much as it allowed him a lot of time to fool around.

"Tais-toi!" Lyra'eve was soon to put a stop to her brother's antics as she spun around at the right moment to almost catch his tail between her jaws. The snap was audible and stopped the behemoth and to make him skid. Normally, she could ignore his feather-brained antics but they were supposed to be doing more than just playing around. "Mon Dieu, Ikaika. We're supposed to be hunting or scouting when we got to this valley." she said, her voice losing its ire.

"Sorry, Lyra'eve," the giant said as he held his head down. He had already forgotten what his sister had said the second they entered the forest as he had been more interested in the sights and scents. He scrambled to his feet as he began to pad after his sister, his tail still flicking from side to side as his fins lowered. He wished that he wasn't so forgetful but no matter how much he tried to remember, it was still difficult.

"Let's split up, Lyra'eve said and without a second word, she bounded away from the oversized sabre. His mouth was still left open to try to get a word edgewise but it soon closed. He began sniffing the air and tried to track anything that was worth eating.
