This was a roller coaster. Sorry for my absence. As someone who literally has all her characters, and I literally mean almost all her characters in Nardir, and I’ve been in Nardir and even was a part of the thread where Alana and Mercury were born ( I know I seem to bring that up a lot. It’s one of those “Yay! I feel important” things.) this would be a blow. My attendance has been rocky I admit.
I’m busy with my certification now and life seems to be kicking me in the pants quite literally lately. I hope the Nardir 3.0 makes it. Maybe they can name a clan the Phoenix or a new feature be Heart of the Phoenix. |

Hayley and I will be working out a plot that will transition Nardir from this territory into it's new one. This isn't going to be a super fast transition, and while a bunch of the OOC stuff is going to be rearranged/reposted, the IC transitions in Nardir are going to be played out. This means you will have plenty of time to finish your threads (the board isn't going anywhere) and to create some new ones in the meantime. For now, all I will say is that while Nardir is once again "moving" (This pack certainly does know how to get around, doesn't it?). We will be keeping the spot on the Straits map, it's just going to magically become something else after a transition period.
This pack may not be super active with a bunch of fast posts, but it is strong with deeply rooted players who have always cared about it. I don't mind everyone being slightly slow and I would rather have a few good threads than a bunch of inactive "filler". I will also be coming up with some events and activities that will be focused on building pack relations. I remember Nardir being a closely knit community, and I would like to reinforce those bonds when Mercury retakes the crown. |

Since it seems that ICly, the land is going to be changing, are our characters free to remember what we're leaving behind? The Tendrils turned out to be more important for Akutan's growth than I anticipated and I would like him to remember the thoughts and feelings he had when he first found them with Kyra, even if we keep the "poisonous gases" aspect as a reason for the pack moving. The Tendrils served as the breakthrough I needed to get him out of his years-long funk over what he had lost as a pup and his issues with Aylie.

As a suggestion, perhaps the tendrils being exposed to cold air and fresh oxygen (since it took place in winter) for extended time led to them rotting or oxidizing, resulting in poisonous gas?

Your characters will remember this Nardir. It won't magically poof. I want to keep as much of this Nardir intact as I can until our transition is complete.
Our general idea is that an aftershock will cause carbon monoxide vents to open, which will, of course, be a big problem. The Nardirians will go to Inaria as planned, and afterwards, Merc will lead them to the territory that will take this one's place. |

Okay then.
I'm already starting to plot a little bit with Byakko. I've known for a while that he's just about run his course so perhaps when they get to Inaria, Byakko may pass away to be with his family who went before. I haven't quite decided since my tentative plan was to have Akutan and Kyra married with pups before Byakko dies but at the moment, it might be best for him to be retired from active play since I'm running out of ideas for him, much like Starfire. I'm probably just to play it out as we go and see where Byakko stands when things get underway for the change in leadership and land. BTW: Puffin, if you're going to be sending Puffin off to start a new pack, we should have one last thread between him and Akutan at the least, considering Starfire's role in everything that brought you to Nardir in the first place. |

in Inaria, Mercury will become the new Queen/Alana will be leaving Nardir, what happens after that in Nardir is mostly up to Scy! |

So..it may be because of..whats going on in RL for me but..I couldn't make sense of the Alana post and am very confused as to what is going on right now..
I'm trying to keep as track as possible of things so things can make some sort of sense for things but things aren't making sense..or idk..maybe they just aren't making sense for me right now...or just..I'm very confused about Nardir things right now |
