It had been long enough, it had been the topic of avoidance, buried deep within and behind any obstacle. Yet he and his Wife would be soon departing for Gemini with a party, and it was at this point that there was little left to be done before departure. This, was certainly something that needed to be done... Something that had Ghost tense and in a fowl mood. Large body shifted from the cliffside, where he'd been staring down at the jagged rocks and waves that thundered below. Salty breeze pushing his contrasting fur backward as he wandered from the Ocean. Moving steadily along Inaria's trails, pausing every once and awhile to greet a familiar face... And get acquainted with an unfamiliar face.

Ghost knew almost everyone here, it was his job to know who was who. Who belonged to them in case of intrusion, and it was very clear he was keen to be familiar with each member. Even if it was only to understand they were Inarian, or if he could, recall their job and social standing. That was more difficult, it felt impossible to keep tabs on what every single member was doing for work. The King did like to know everyone was alright though, even if he came off as fairly standoffish. He tried hard to be more social, and it was clear to himself he was procrastinating along the way.

Glancing up toward to Sun to gather an idea of the time, he shook his large skull and moved along with purpose. Posure tall as he wandered past the Gardens, where he'd had spent a large amount of time with Lotus growing through his young adult life. A pang of missing the golden Healer buzzed in the back of his mind, but he kept forward instead of pausing to find his Friend. Forward onto where the now familiar scent hung, and his jaw tightened while he stood on, light eyes searching for his Father.

"It's about time we spoke." Firmly stated, with strain and distaste. This was the last place he wanted to be, and Ghost would not be shy about making that obvious.

The brute had contented himself with staying to his own little space in the infirmary.

It was obvious he was avoiding certain members of the pack, and for good reason. He had barely established himself in the pack, feeling unwelcome at every corner. Setebos had tolerated him, but what else was he to do with a patient? He'd gotten braver lately, venturing along the borders by himself or mainly just sticking around the Gardens in case anyone had need of him. The Omega was anyone's to beckon, but today it was the King himself that appeared in all his glory.

"It's about time we spoke."

The Omega stood up as soon as Ghost spoke, the hackles at the base of his neck bristling with anxiety. “My King,” Kieran replied, head dipping in respect similar to as he had done with Haylyn. Blue tones rose up to latch onto the King's silver eyes, hard and cold as steel. The shortness in Ghosts tone was to be expected, and yet it still left Kieran feeling lost and uneasy. What was he supposed to say? Was he supposed to say anything?

“I'm... proud of what you've done with Inaria. I'm proud of you. Of all of you.” He'd utter softly, pangs of regret squeezing his heart that he wasn't here to see them grow up and into the strong adults they were today. He braced himself for a comeback, he had made it easy hadn't he? It was like staring into a mirror image, the illusion shattered by the masked marks of Ghosts face. They were practically matched in size and weight, at opposite ends of society.

“What did you want to talk about? I want.... to be useful.”
