There was a place that from time to time the youth found himself passing by on his way elsewhere, and though curiosity struck him every time he'd yet to make time to explore there. Well, until this lazy afternoon that is. After doing a whole lot nothing except splashing a few streaks of dirt on himself (coloring yourself was so cool, okay, like the coolest) Genim was more than ready to go do something with himself and it was right there...So through a break in the mossy walls Genim would not so stealthily sneak with ideas of shiny (and not so shiny!) treasure in his mind. Sure his collection was small, for now at least, and obviously the only way to make it bigger was to, well, find new things! And who knew, maybe whoever or whatever built the castle had stashed some awesome stuff in it that hadn't been taken yet and he could find it.
How cool would that be?! First things first though, and with only a short glance around as though to see if he were being followed (siblings man...) the boy would head through one of the empty doorways and farther inside the structure mumbling a bit to himself as he went. Maybe this wasn't his brightest move, but he was committed to his treasure hunt now no matter what might be lurking under all the dust or behind the vines growing around him. Besides it was probably completely safe...most likely. It's not like there wouldn't be guards or, or, other things to keep him out if it wasn't after all. So with that in mind the youngster would continue on his great journey, all the while poking his nose into random crevices as he went. And maybe sneezing a bit when he got into particularly dirty areas. So far, however, his exploring seemed fruitless and after a while longer of trying to find anything at all worth adding to his collection Nim would flop to the ground with a dramatic huff and rather dejectedly try to tell himself that, "Maybe it really is all gone." Because he wasn't even all that picky and still had nothing at all to show for his work. |
