There was plenty to explore here in Gemini, that's what she'd been told anyway. It was the very tagline that was aimed very perfectly at its target, and most certainly struck her with perfect accuracy. Aela had picked her audience well when she'd spoken, and that was really all it took for Viva to agree to give Gemini a chance at being home. Reality was it would take very little to entice her, to convince her to settle in a place that may just provide her with companionship, and family she'd lost. The open road had been lonely, exploration was plenty good, but an end to the loneliness was what, deep down, she wanted the most.

Unfortunately it looked like some exploration was still left up to her to do all on her own, and while it was of some disappointment not to have accompaniment, she still gladly set out, deeper into Gemini to see just what it did in fact have to offer. Turns out, there was a whole lot of Gemini to see. With not a clue what she was looking for or where, she'd traveled inward, passing remnants of the crumbling wall, traipsing past small streams that ran through the land, and eventually made it to the clustered trees that made up a forest. She'd stopped briefly, peering up into the treetops with curiosity, and then within. It took little investigation to spot the mighty remains of what once may have been a great castle.

Viva's face lit up when she pieced together her discovery, as thrilled as if she'd been the first to ever come across it. Humans were amazing, and she was enthralled with the thought of climbing one of the weather-worn towers. Imagine just what she could see from way up there. Bouncing a little where she stood, the young mutt bolted forward, excited to meet the building up close. Now, this formerly glorious stronghold had many ways to get in, on or around it, but Viva as never a girl of the path of least resistance. She paced along some its sides, overly eager but still holding back, trying to find what route suited her best.

The shortest distance was a straight line, right? A collapsed and decaying wall was what she chose, running at it with the speed at which her gangly legs could take her, and leaping up onto the stones. Some smaller pebbles fell away beneath her feet, not the most sturdy of paths, she was wholly undeterred, pressing forward excitedly. Her nails scrabbled at the structured, and with all her efforts, she managed to hoist what little weight she carried on her body at a steady speed upward. The top of the battlement called out to her, and no broken stone slabs or moss or ivy would stand in her way. Given some time and a whole lot of muscle work, Viva made her way to her goal, standing attop her chosen castle wall, where she could gaze out upon Gemini's land more fully.

Reaching up with her forepaws, she lifted to stand and admire her new home, panting all the while from her reasonable efforts, and tail swishing back and forth in pleasure at her accomplishment. Never mind the fact that there was a mildly damaged spiral staircase that led to this particular tower which would have gotten her to the same place with very little struggle. That just wouldn't have been nearly as fun.

He didn't make a habit of journeying too far from the inner heartlands of Gemini, his mind always focused on the 'what ifs', his sisters still young and foolish, his mother a prisoner. There was a strange sort of bitterness that prickled at him with painful barbs. If Pa was here, none of this would have happened, if Unc' stayed then maybe they would have had more of a chance. An unstable mother, what the hell would you think would happen? They were all just falling apart.

Speaking of falling apart, Kao had spotted the old tower a couple miles back. The large crumbling tower had piqued his interest so much in fact that he found himself crossing the causeway when the tide was low, watching as small sea creatures scuttled back into small tide pools for safety.

Reaching land he looked about, nose crinkling at the smell of saltwater soaked shores, nothing about this place ever smelled like Saboro. Though he'd been told that many ex-members had joined up here, guess they traded their jungle canopy for rolling moors and highlands.

When he came to the old remains of the tower, he circled, head tilting and nostrils flaring, but even these old stones smelt of the sea. Loose rock and pebbles fell away, and the tower gave a great old creak, but stood firm. Kaolin back up, some of the rock falling onto his head and he snorted gruffly, wiry fur bristled and teeth bared as he rumbled clearly annoyed. More and more of the rock came slipping down and the male cocked his head upward. Bright, burning eyes narrowing as they met sunlight and he caught sight of the form of another. "What in the hell?" He mumbled to himself as he stood back.

Above him sat a small little mutt girl, looking out on the vast lands, but Kaolin couldn't care less why she was up there. "What the hell are you doing up there?Hey?! HEY?! He barked gruffly. "You're gonna break your fuckin' neck, ya idiot." And being a witness to it, he'd get blamed and he'd be in the same damn position as his mother, he'd pace anxiously below.

I'll set fire to the whole place
I don't even care about our house
It's not the same in here since he left anyways
