Bounty Board
Current Bounty Director ▪ ____ What is this?
The bounty board is where packs, individuals, etc can place a bounty on a character or pack. The board is manned by an individual called the Bounty Director, who is in charge of reading the bounties to the bounty hunters or visitors who see the board. The bounty director also writes the bounties on the board.
How do I set a bounty?
1. Make a thread in the Outskirts board with your individual in the Visitor's Center.
2. Make it clear you wish to set a bounty. 3. Fill out this form in your post. This will be the IC contents of the bounty for the character Code: Bounty Issuer: How do I take bounties?
1. Make a thread in the Outskirts board with your individual in the Visitor's Center.
2. Make it clear you wish to see the bounty board. (Learn the bounty from the Bounty Director.) 3. If you OOCly see a specific bounty you want to hunt down, request information on it in an OOC comment. 4. Go out and try to hunt that bounty! How do I claim a bounty?
1. Make a thread in the Outskirts board with your individual in the Visitor's Center.
2. Make it clear you have a bounty to claim. 3. If proof is present, the Bounty Director will hand you a copy of the Bounty from the board and you will take that to the delivery location for your reward. 4. Rewards are the responsibility of the bounty issuer, not Bacchus. What happens if I have a bounty placed on my head?
Bounties are entirely IC things. If a bounty is placed ICly on your character, any bounty hunters must learn of it ICly in order to know about the bounty and hunt you down. You may attempt to buy out the bounty if you get word of it, but it is unlikely that the issuer will stop their hunt for you. Bounty hunters cannot learn of bounties through "magic" or OOC ways, they must learn via dialogue between characters played by two different people - IE if Bob plays Susie and Thomas, but Susie finds out about the bounty, Susie cannot tell Thomas unless they are in a thread where Susie is telling someone else.
There is a bounty on a Bacchus civilian.
As bounties are not Bacchus law, they do not make an unlawful death lawful. If you are caught attacking, murdering, or otherwise harming a Bacchus citizen, it will be tried as a premeditated act of violence.
