JUST CHERRIES ON TOP [ open ] - BELLAMY. - August 12, 2018

After months and months of positively dreadful waiting, Arcana finally had its own territory to call home. Finally, Bellamy had somewhere to lay down her roots and lay seeds for figurative rose bushes, lovely and charming at first glance but thorny if you get too close. Finally, the vixen had somewhere to call home where she wouldn't be considered a criminal. Finally, the Lunaris had somewhere to build her stage and dazzle all those who came to see her, sometimes taking payment in more ways than one. Finally, the Magician had somewhere to perform her magic.
For now, however, Bellamy was a bit preoccupied. The triad still had a lot of work to do, organizing their people and starting up their little enterprise. Fae had decided to wait until they had gathered everyone and gotten their territory to finally figure out ranks and the like, something Bellamy had found a sound idea. As long as she got her wishes, the starry-furred fox was perfectly content with whatever Fae had in mind. After all, Arcana was initially hers before she had convinced Bellamy and Argentum to band with her. The Lunaris just wished that the warm-toned female had forewarned her of all the planning they now had to do.
It wasn't as if Bellamy disliked planning. After all, the amount of planning that went into one of her shows was appalling to many, especially if they weren't used to the flairs that she was somewhat known for. However, the planning that Arcana needed was very unlike the kind that Bellamy oft used. And it was particularly loathsome to talk about anything but her section of Arcana: the performers. But she understood the need to talk of the dominions of her comrades, the Solaris and the Terris. After all, how could you be a performer if you had no laymen to perform for?
For now, though, she was taking a not quite deserved break to laze about. She was sure Fae or Argentum would come barging over at any time, demanding she come back with them and continue with organizing--especially since her creative mind was indeed a useful one. But at least she could enjoy the peace and quiet while it lasted, even if her negligence didn't merit it. Nonetheless, she lounged on a log much like the one Fae had first found her on, laying on a patch of moss as the sun filtered through the leafy trees and scattered on her unique, colorful pelt.

RE: JUST CHERRIES ON TOP [ open ] - Roux - September 17, 2018

Arcana, a home, new and old, to mythos and magic. Both a haven and a stage, a place to not just survive but to live.

An inspired idea, perhaps, whether or not she was fully invested in the whole project, Roux was yet undecided. Still, it was likely to provide a sort of entertainment, and if nothing else at least a place to lay her head until the next scheme might coax her away. The Veilwood valley was lovely, at least, once one braved through the dark and creaking forest and all its sinister limbs reaching out like spindly fingers intent to capture all who dared pass through. Roux loved it, particularly enthralled by Fae's clever little wards of skeletal remains dragged into the branches at the furthest reaches.

The autumn coated vixen found herself plenty at home with those lifeless remains, picking her way through the treetops just as easily as most might traverse the ground. It was a lovely vantage point, giving her a better view of the forest and a little further in, the valley itself. Better yet, it offered a particularly eye-catching look at one of Arcana's very own leaders. Not the Solaris with which Roux had become familiar, but instead the Lunaris, her starry coat immediately recognizable. A sly smile would stretch across a slender muzzle as she crept in closer, staying high in the boughs.

"Ah, what a very special priviledge, to see so clearly the stars, even in the light of the day." Roux would come to rest, perched rather precariously several feet up above Bellamy, looking plenty at ease.

RE: JUST CHERRIES ON TOP [ open ] - BELLAMY. - September 23, 2018

She had been sitting on her log, contemplating ideas for future events. More specifically, her plans for the sort-of upcoming Autumn party. While the standard theme would be upheld as planned, she intended to put her own spin on it. She was sure she could engineer some special effects using the native flora of the valley and perhaps finding out which created the best booze. The latter of which she would probably save for a night alone or maybe with Fae to get the Solaris to loosen up a bit. Really, while Miss Sunshine was certainly interesting she could be a drag from time to time.

However, a voice from the trees above broke her train of thought as she huffed to herself, And so the peace and quiet don't intend to last, it seems.

Turning her eyes to the tree branches hanging far above her head, the vixen looked inquisitively for the source of the voice. It didn't take the vigilant female long, eyes latching on to a patch of movement and then to orange hues. "Especially lovely considering the early arrival of autumn colors, don't you think, pumpkin?" she asked bemusedly, not exactly perturbed by the other vixen's arrival as she laid out lazily over the mossy log, the tip of her tail flicking rhythmically. If she were honest, she was rather proud of coming up with the nickname so quickly.

As she eyed the other more carefully, she came to the realization that the black and autumn-toned lady was one of Fae's court. It was no wonder the other was so familiar, especially considering that, if Bellamy's memory served correct (as it often did), she was a whisper. The notion of the rank often made the Lunaris scoff. Fae was cautious, potentially standing at the cross between being cautious and borderline paranoid. She didn't trust Bellamy quite fully and seemed determined on holding a firm grip on all things Arcana, but perhaps that was a logical response to the eccentric Lunaris.
