The fire burns, so does my reputation - The problem Child - December 26, 2018 (This roleplay takes place within the scene of the fire. Mouuse returned to the sight of his birthpack dens in flames) "I've taken a path, a long path that I can't seem to phase from. It hurts so much to just sit here as the flames engulf my body into shining ash and the smoke that chokes me." Mouuse spoke as he stared at the lit up forest then at the enlightened dens that blazed with raging yellow and red from the inside. All he could do is stare, stare into the teeth of fire and the hands of smoke choking him. The heat was rising as he stood there, shocked. Who could have done this to his home? Who could just set the woods on fire to just kill off his pack, his birthmother, his father his siblings? His eyes had an orange glow to it as he stared into the bright flames, coughing. He had to leave before his vessel gives out. Before he can, he stiffened at the crackling tree that was also caught by the fire. It tilted towards him. His breathing jumpstarts into a fast pace. It tilted some more, crackling. His fear took away the will to move his own legs. Mouuse's small life was at risk. One last crackle was made before the towering tree of fire fall towards him. Trembling, staring, crying, he screamed but his cries were weakened by the smoke in his throat. RE: The fire burns, so does my reputation - Erysichthon - December 27, 2018 The fire danced in his eyes and he watched the the wolf starring at the lit wood. Smoke rose up to his nose, the smell of burning wood made his eyes water. Blinking away the tears, he took a step forward growling. The wolf let out a cry of agony. The sound was muffled by the crack of a falling tree, Ery ran for the wolf. His red and blue eyes squinted into small, glowing lines of fury. He was a larger breed, so he was a little taller than some wolves and in this situation Erysicthon was taller than this wolf. He grabed the wolf by its scruff, dragging the wolf away from the path of the tree. His paws flew acrossed the burning land. He ducked under falling branches and jumped over “rings of fire”. Ery’s paw-pads burned and his muscles aced, he had been following the smell of smoke for a couple of hours now and he needed to rest. But instead of resting he stalked this young creature. He eruptedly stopped and looked around his for shelter, his red and blue eyes swishing and searching. Yes! Large rocks has fallen, and in doing so they provided a cave like space. Fire didn’t and couldn’t burn on rocks, the wolf and himself would be safe. For now, the only problem was, was that the rocks were clear acrossed the forest. Ery lept forward and dodged another falling tree. He lunged again, but only this time he was too late. Ery’s tail got caught under the falling tree. The wolf flung out of his grasp and landed a few feet away. The crack of a potential falling tree rung out in the forest. He let out a loud snarl if pain. “Kid! Damn it’s, kid get up. Go to the rocks. Now! I’m right behind you.” He barked. RE: The fire burns, so does my reputation - The problem Child - December 28, 2018 Mousse weakly stood up before turning to the other that saved him. His eyes widened as he saw the other struggle from being caught in the tree. Hearing trees falling with fire blazing around him, he did what the taller male said. Running towards the rocks, his fur was burned and wirey. His throat was dry from inhaling the smoke. He turned around to see the fire touching the rocks. Surprisingly, the rocks weren't effected by it. He wanted to help the male but, his little structure can't withold the smoke and fire long enough. His eyes that matched with the fire were watery from his crying. The smoke still stained the air but, it wasn't as strong as before. He kept his eyes fixated on the ignited forest. Backing further into the small crevis between the rocks, he waited. RE: The fire burns, so does my reputation - Erysichthon - December 28, 2018 Ery watched as the wolf ran towards the rock. The tree close to him was falling, so he curled up into the tree. The tree fell right by his shoulders, there for giving him grip. Erysicthon’s claws and teeth dig into the bark of the tree, all he could taste was ash and his eyes watered. I don’t want to die... not like this. He thought He tried to pull himself up and out. No use, his mussels ached so he wasn’t as strong as usally is. He tried again, a rock of twig must have come loose because his moved forward a few inches and got a foot out. He kicked and scratched at the tree, finally the tree moved just enough for Ery to tug his tail out. Branches crashed around him and singed his fur. Embers fell onto his muzzle, he yelped and shook them off. Fresh blood dripped from his face and onto the fire stricken ground, and he dodged the next branch that fell from above him. Ery looked at the wolf in the rocks, his eyes were wide and scared. He shook out the thoughts that rampaged into his mind. Ery lunged out of the way and started to run towards the rocks, his Labradorite amulet swung around his neck. The black gem shone bright against the red and orange hue of the fire. The flames licked at his paws as he raced acrossed the heated ground. A tree fell in front of him and he jumped over it. He landed a few fox lengths away from the rocks, so he took one bing lunge and Ery landed in the cave like space in the rocks where the wolf he had saved was waiting. The space was bing enough for four wolves so they had plenty of space. RE: The fire burns, so does my reputation - The problem Child - January 22, 2019 Mouuse watched the other as they managed to escape from under the tree and out the burning woods. The sky was blackened with smoke and the strong smell of burning life stung his nose. He looked over at his paws, he felt saddened by his home being burned down by a sudden fire. He didn't expect this late at night when he was requested to hunt. He wasn't sure why or how it happened. The sound of crackling trees was heard along with the roaring fire. Mouuse built the confidence to speak, "I thank you for saving me." He looked up at the taller wolf and gave a faint smile until he noticed the bleeding. "Did you get burned?" He asked. Then the question made him think of the bandit, he stranger he met before the fire that disappeared after him. Mouuse was clearly worried. Nolerium froze apon hearing the choked, weak cries of another animal. The wailing was coming from a burning forest. The beautiful, yet deadly flames seemed to dance as they lept from one tree to another, leaving nothing but destruction in their wake. The shepard let out a whine I..I cant go in there.. He thought as he watched the dark clouds of smoke float into the air, darkening the once bright sky. A white wolf bolted into the woods, its pelt tainted orange as the lights of the fire shone off of it. Nole watched in horror as the canine vanished within the plumes of smoke,They're going to get themselves killed! Nole mentally screamed, he booked it towards the woods, the sent of smoke getting steadily stronger as he neared it. As he made it to the wood, the white wolf had emerged, a second wolf by its side. "Are you both alright?! You could of gotten killed!" he yelled, nervously, his ears flattened back as he watched the two canines.

It’s nothing personal, it’s just who Ery is.) A figure emerged from outside into the cave. It voice was was loud and recognizable, but Ery didn’t have time to figure out who this wolf was. His fur was on fire, for Frith’s sake! He began rolling around in the hot dirt and the smell of burning fur filled the air, it wasn’t the best smell in the world but it was easy to deal with. He’d grown used to it, everywhere he went... fire followed. "Are you both alright?! You could of gotten killed!" Said the creature, Ery got himself up with weak knees. A great numbness laid over him like a heavy blanket on a human child. Tho he didn’t much mind, he let it under his skin and into his body. With a loud thump, he was on the ground choking and coughing like a sick pup. Soot, ash and spit mixed with a little blood flew from his muzzle.. he had to stand up! He just had too! Ery thought to himself ‘Just a little nap... it won’t take too long.’ But anger and pain took over his body, a corruption of sort. His eyes a firey red and an ice blue, what was that kid doing! A low snarl rampaged through his chest land out of his muzzle. Ery turned to the kid and barred his thick, soot stricken teeth. “What were you doing in there, kid? Are you insane! You could have been killed! I swear to Frith’s black tongue, I’m gonna rip off your ears and stuff them down your throat!” He growled. It was aggressive and violent but he didn’t care. Frith didn’t care, neither did he care. If El- Acreära was after him and that was his last words, he wouldn’t give two rat tails. RE: The fire burns, so does my reputation - The problem Child - February 25, 2019 Mouuse saw the other appear in shock. They were concerned of them being in the fire. Since they've found a safe place, things werw slowly surpressing. Mouuse heard the tall canine make a throaty growl before it grew louder. Suddenly he was scolded by the taller wolf and his ears turned back against his head. The queasion left Mouuse in a scatter for words. "I-I just discovered that the forest was in flames.. then...t-then..I..I realized my home is gone too.." His mind was busy worrying about the fire and scrambling for why he was in the middle of the flames. He could've died and he never would realise until the smoke takes his breath away. His legs were trembling from the thought that his pack is in the fire. He looked at the flames once again and fought with his will to go back in the fire. His body was ready to make him jump into the flames again as the paranoia coaches him to go back. He struggled to make a move, scared his body will defy his mind and make a regretful move. He looked back at the white wolf and shepherd before looking at the smoke taking the blue sky away. |
