I can be friendly - Orcrist - October 26, 2018 He stumbled around with no current direction, he was just going with the flow of where the forest took him. The purple flowers above him fell in droves with the wind, the sickly sweet smell nearly causing him to be sick. Orcrist had always been curious about this place ever since he was a little pup. Stories had filled his mind, hate had planted a seed in his heart and his loyalties watered it until it blossomed into...
Nothing he expected. Neutrality. Despite the history between the two, Azuhel and the trio sought to give them a chance via an alliance. The past was just that, done and over with. The older generations died out and the new generations stepped up to take a different take. Still, Orcrist couldn't help but feel nervous that someone could recognize who he was. Did they know of Scimitar? His coat was dotted in those ugly colors of his father, but the eye markings gave way to his mother's lineage. They were guests though, and even if they did remember the past, Alteron was still under the original name. How times changed. The Chariot sought the comfort of a tree laced with moss and grass. The base big enough for his figure and he laid down, leaning against the trunk for support. He sighed, finally feeling the ache of his feet. He was the leader of sentries, able to walk the entirety of Alteron in a day or less, but traveling this much had taken it's toll. It had taken them a few days and over a mountain pass in order to reach Inaria from their location, and that much exercise had worn the man down quite a bit. And as much as he wanted to relax, it seemed someone else came to join him in his lounging. "Ah, an' I thought I was alone. Ain't no harm in company, though." he said with a breathy laugh tagged at the end. Especially not a King's. ✦ ✦ Speech Text ✦ ✦

The packlands were full, crowded almost. It made a man content to see this many allied faces gathering, pleased all seemed to be going smoothly at this point in time. Not that Ghost was aware of the Gemini puppies battling between themselves, only that his own Princesses were behaving as they should. Alteron had arrived as well, with their lacking of young children, they'd come along to enjoy the adult company. He moved along from a gathering of guests, giving a short goodbye as he departed to gain a moment of space. Finding himself strolling a familiar pathway through tall trees, their petals had begun to drop slowly in the changing seasons. Littering the ground in purple at the bases of the trunks, it reminded him of his Mother for some reason. Haylyn weighed on his mind, and he hoped to seek her out to spend some much needed time with her. Especially after Wheatley... He needed her to know how much he appreciated her, and how much she meant while he still could tell her these things. Guilt gripped him, why hadn't he spent time with her? Too busy with Inaria, it wasn't an excuse that stood. Ghost sighed at his own thoughts, pale eyes falling upon a stranger as he stopped. "Oh, Hello." He greeted, straightening up his posture and moving to the edge of the familiar stream. Bulky form turning to face the unknown male. "Ah, an' I thought I was alone. Ain't no harm in company, though." Ghost nodded in amusement, half laughing "No harm at all. Ghost, and you are?" Gruffly said in agreement sinking down into a relaxed lay. Perhaps two large men could get along, despite the past they both were trying to forget. |
