Do It For The Vine [Rosie + Puppies!] - Belioh - June 19, 2018

So there were these vines that twined themselves around one of Inaria's many, many trees. Not a big deal, fine, sure. Great. The only reason they stood out to the little flower princess.... was because they were orange which stood out brilliantly among all that purple. She saw it from a ways off and if eyes could sparkle hers would have. Maybe they weren't a big deal, maybe the vine they grew on lacked the necessary bend to be manipulated into something she'd love to create. That would be find too, at least she'd have the flower.

But a couple of things were wrong with that. One! The nicer, fuller flowers grew a ways up the vine and egro the tree, two she stood before a thicket of thorns (why haven't these been cleared out?? There were children around.) Those were the immediate problems, that mismatched eyes spied. The tree would be... hard...but thankfully there were low growing branches that she could, theoretically, clamber up on. The thorns though...

Bel ran a paw over the spiky floof on her head, frowning. She didn't want burrs and thorns stuck in her fur, that'd take more time than she'd like to spend plucking sharp, dirty things out of her fur. Her fur was very bland, nature colored so... it blends.

The quad colored youth sucked in a breath, only to sharply huff. A very large part of her wanted to walk away but the colors of those flowers caught her eye, again... and so she trudged forward. So into the thicket she went, cringing as all that sharp nature snagged and pulled at her fur. "I hate this, I hate this, I hate this IhatethisIhatethis Ouch!" she chanted over and over until something sharp poked at her nose. The ouch was yelped, in that sharp puppy sort of way before she glowered at the thorn and adjusted her path.

Finally free of it, in a very small gap between danger bush and tree, she reached up to the first branch... only for her ears to pick up a consistent-not-fading buzz. Her eyes slowly rose to a few hornets making there way in and out of a notch in the tree itself, juuuust above her head. Bel's ears flattened, and her lower body did too, but her front paws were sort of rooted to the spot.

"Help..." she squeaked.
