One hellion, Two options - Zephis - March 16, 2018 Heavy paws padded across the wastelands as the wolf traveled, his red eyes shifting rapidly and ears perked. It seemed that the area was dead, but the indistinguishable scent of wolves was heavy in the air. The whole situation was odd to the loner, why would anyone live in such a crowded land full of rocks? Zephis scrunched his nose as he crossed what must have been the border as the air suddenly became thick with the scent of wolves. The loner grunted as he quickly pranced a few paces away from the border, going deeper into the territory. The scent of wolves didn't appeal to Zephis very much, especially wolves he didn't know. The loner sneezed a few times, laying down on a patch of grass to wrap his paws around his snout and wipe his face. He sneezed again when some dirt got into his nose. The situation was incredibly unpleasant, but Zephis signed up for this when he left home. Still, it was hard when there wasn't anything familiar by sight nor scent. Zephis didn't know where he was going nor did he know how to get back. RE: One hellion, Two options - Kung Pao Tofu - March 17, 2018 pssst, you posted this twice RE: One hellion, Two options - DustyForgotten - June 30, 2018 Hey my guy; coming into the territory without permission generally ends in enslavement. Is that what you were looking for, or would you like to change the story and go on with a normal acceptance? Either way, I can take it with one of my characters here. <3 RE: One hellion, Two options - Zephis - September 20, 2018 Oh shit... um... lets make this interesting and leave the story ? RE: One hellion, Two options - DustyForgotten - September 21, 2018 As you wish! Big bad Garry, coming right up. RE: One hellion, Two options - Garrison - September 23, 2018 He could smell the thing a mile out.
Oukoku-Kai is as the heathen name implies-- a valley. Smells tend to linger: the roses, the deaths, the blood, and each other. Downwind reeks of wolf, and you can hear the howls in every direction, but they're tightly knit, from the trees of the maze, comrades under each Order, and the bonds of every house. No one crosses the borders without them knowing-- and there are no hellhounds in Oukoku. (Tibet not included. Tibet doesn't count, when he's been baptized by a Rosa.) Garrison's trudge passes a Boshin shrouded in the shadow, creeping upon the hellion, and he simply snorts at her, waves the girl off with a flick of his tail. She watched him work at Sphinx's meetup, and she'll watch now. He doesn't cloak his approach, but the intruder has its face covered, anyway. By the time they notice, he's likely right in front of it. The massive wolf grins thick teeth, stance wide in front of the hellion. "You've made some stupid mistake," the dire chastises, obviously not upset. If anything, he's delighted to have another victim. RE: One hellion, Two options - Zephis - November 09, 2018 You’ve made some stupid mistake” The large wolf stood in front of him and stood very still. Zephis respond in a low voice. “I make no mistake, only stupid choices” with these words he laughed, not at the wolf in front of him, but at what he said. His father had said this right before he was torn apart by his old leader. He sat back, very pleased with him self and his pathetic come back. But he gave no emotion to this wolf, not even a smirk. His ears twitched and his tail layed in front of him swished side to side. He became very nervous as he saw the wolf had not broken his gaze, he shifted his metal paws from side to side like his tail. Zephis was never was good at making eye contact with anyone or anything. It wasn’t that he couldn’t, it was just that it made him fell uncomfortable. Jerking his head up a little, his nose twitched and swerved. He knew there had to be more than this wolf. Eh. Didn’t matter, less wolves meant less danger. “So... you here to punish me for a crime than I didn’t commit yet?” His hackles raised. What the hell was he doing! He was gonna get himself killed. RE: One hellion, Two options - WishingWind - November 09, 2018 Sorry for the super long wait RE: One hellion, Two options - Garrison - November 09, 2018 The hell-thing wilts under gaze alone. Good. Head tilts up in an effort to break gaze, raise chin-- exposes the throat. Garrison licks his lips, and takes two paces forward and just a little diagonal: one good lunge, and he can have the scruff between his teeth.
“So... you here to punish me for a crime than I didn’t commit yet?” He snorts at the weak attempt of a defense. All tough, until one wolf shows up. "Your crime's trespassing," he growls with a nod to the border behind the hellion. "Were you planning on any others?" RE: One hellion, Two options - Zephis - November 11, 2018 “My crime is that I heard this is were all the fucked up wolves go and I wanted to see if that was simply a rumor or not. And as you can see I’m a… well let’s just I’m not normal in other wolf’s eyes. Being a loner; you don’t really have a home so you tend to wonder, having said that,my other crime is that I need a home, a comfortable place to sleep, a pack, an alpha… a purpose.” His ears dropped a little, but Zephis shook his head to get rid of the thoughts that rushed into his head like a bird rushing into its home to escape the hawk. For the first time in this encounter, he looked around at the low brush. Eyes glistened in the dark as the sun shimmered down onto the ground. Zephis was being watched. And not just by Garrison, but others like the wolf in front of him. “Where you planing any others?” Garrison growled. Zephis laughed. “I see you don’t know the definition of loner. Huh, your a wolf with all bronze but no brain. Well then…” he mumbled under is breath: “this should be easy.” He was way too close to death anyway, so it didn’t matter if he got into the pack, or died. All that matters is who he tried to be and what he tried to do. RE: One hellion, Two options - Garrison - November 16, 2018 He nods sympathetically, lower lip sticking out a little as he goes. Pack, purpose, home... After a second of silence, Garrison's face pulls back in a snarl, revealing the sarcasm of the whole display. "You won't find any of that in Death Valley." He raises his left paw, another step too close, nothing near the neuter's face but scruff heavier than polar bear and and a shoulder stacked in muscle.
Coming close to the ear, he admits, "The place is practically on fire, anyway..." There's no loyalty here, no structure-- just the rule of strength. As if to demonstrate, the Fringe knocks his raised leg into the hellion's knees, hoping to throw him off balance, bring the thing to a bow. While he's still offset, Garry throws the right foreleg over Zephis's shoulder, keeping him down or forcing him to support the fringe's considerable weight. "Too bad for you, nobody leaves Oukoku-Kai, either." Finally, straddling the hellhound, he bites the ear so close to his maw, both a warning and a mark-- did you really think an enslavement would happen without getting hurt? RE: One hellion, Two options - Zephis - November 16, 2018 Garrison took this time to beat him. “Son of a bitch!” He growled right before he hit the ground. But he rolled out of Garrison’s reach before he could do anything more. His chin hurt, it surprised him because 67% of him was hellion. Zephis sprung up and growled, his long fangs showing. “What the hell, man!? Pfft, your such a coward. Using a guys time against him, I knew you were low, but this is stupid. Even for you. In fact, You proved my point.” Garrison, knocked him down, brought him down onto his stomach. He felt the wolf’s teeth sink into his ear. His eyes closed until you could only see large, anger, burning balls of red and orange. He soared upward. Garrison may be able to knock him down but he can’t hold down a hellion. He turned and snarled at Garrison. |
