Meet at the Stones - nyxsiern - January 16, 2018 The timber girl paced up to a pile of large stones. She had been traveling some distance from the Neutrals where she had found herself to here. Something drew her here.. maybe the stars or some old fates. Either way she made it. Her emerald eyes looked around approvingly. The place had a good feel and lots of room yet to explore. She could smell the scents of a pack. That always held curious fortunes but she wasn't much of a worrier. So she sat down, admiring the stones, figuring that someone, somewhere would pick up her new scent and find her. They would kick her out, welcome her, or something inbetween, but for now she was going to enjoy the view and let them come. RE: Meet at the Stones - Serrate - April 17, 2018 She was a new mother. Again. They were growing up fast, as they always did. Their teeth were getting sharper and they were getting louder and more rambunctious by the day. So. Needless to say. When offered the chance to take a walk, she welcomed the short reprieve from motherhood and dove into the fresh snow blanketing her home. She left the muddied circles her children had formed throughout the courtyard and she walked. She didn’t run, though her legs itched to, knowing that someone worried for her back home. She would take it easy, and she would come back to them before any time had passed at all. She passed the wall and those that walked atop it greeted her. It was quiet and still beyond those towering stones. She wonders if all their guests have already left—she makes a mental note to ask her daughter later. The days seemed to tumble into each other, but out here it was cold, crisp, and new. She enjoys it and lapses into comfortable nothingness for a while, leaving her mark on the canvas until coming across the stranger. “Oh,” she says softly, words condensating as they hit the air. “Sorry, I was lost in my thoughts. Are you new?” RE: Meet at the Stones - Rhiow - April 17, 2018 KAISA Kaisa’s enamored gaze snapped away from the tall stones toward the voice nearby. She looked over the elder wolf, feeling a strong air that may have misconstrued her as a male at first. Her voice was rough but gave away her She took in the lines of red circling her eyes and the tired expression. The stranger’s beautiful patterns of chocolate fur blended together into a pleasant, earthy design that reminded the newcomer of wolves in her past. The smaller wolf let a pause pass between them during her examination of this beautiful creature who was both an obvious commander of this domain, but also.. exhausted. Kaisa was pleased at least that no one was immediately barking her off. “Yes,” she replied with an expression that attempted to be neutral but was obviously happy with the encounter, “I am.” She stood to face the wolf that far surpassed her in size and sat again in a passive and non-threatening manner. She waited patiently for her response with sweet eyes and not a single drop of judgement. RE: Meet at the Stones - Serrate - April 17, 2018 She took in the stranger, sweet and nonthreatening. Are you new? she had asked, and only belatedly she wondered why she had—maybe she’d written the party off without realizing it. Still, she wasn’t as familiar with the people of her pack as she once was. A twinge of anxiety needled its way into her heart and she silently vowed to change that. “What’s your name?” she asks, a reasonable follow up. There was no hurry and she took her time. |
