The little pup giggled as she walked aimlessly, oversized paws thudding on the ground. Her blue eyes scanned everything happily, and there was a prance to her step. Her dotted tail wagged quickly from side to side, so hard her whole body nearly wriggling.

The little pup yipped, seeing a mouse sniffing at the ground. The galaxy-pelted wolf crouched low to the ground, and stalked forward, rump high. Excitement gleamed in her eyes, and she squirmed forward, moving in little hops.

Soon, she was nearing the little mouse, standing with its hairless tail facing her. She grinned excitedly, and wriggled her butt, before pouncing forward. The mouse squealed, and bolted, vanishing into the high grass. The little cub made chase, laughing happily. This was fun!

Soon, the little pup lost sight of the mouse as it dove into the hole of a tree trunk, and she pounced, paws scrabbling at the dirt. When that proved fruitless, she whimpered, dropping onto her stomach and sniffing at the whole. "What's wrong? I just wanted to play!"
