Miasma never seems to be where she should. She's no troublemaker, not sneaking away from her uninterested guardian in the dead of night so much as wandering until well beyond sundown, losing the light and her way. It's never bothered her, though. Walk in circles long enough, you're bound to find someone, she supposes--
that, or someone will find you.
The humidity brings a bit of curl to her thick fur, looking almost like a badger as she trudges the forest on weary legs. The dire has no home of her own, but it's nice to know where owl pellets can be found, river stones and curved sticks and furs discarded by the bone-obsessed.
She's excited upon first seeing Renshaw, because her colouration looks like bones from a distance. Perhaps they've both mistook each other for something they wanted. After all, Miasma is more likely to instantly attach herself than offer casual companionship.
