The welcome whistle of the wind. - Moons [RP] - November 13, 2017

speech thoughts

The trees swayed, casting their shadow on the ground below as they danced to the breeze blown in from the ocean. Even from this distance, the salt in the air could be tasted by Moons. The maroon female lay beneath the shade of a Jacanda tree, basking in the array of scents that her sensitive nose analyzed. It was a peaceful sight, something that calmed her soul in ways that many other things could not.

With a sigh, Moons directed her gaze to the far distance. Her fur was more gray now; it was apparent that she had gained a few years. Not that she was old -- she would laugh it off if anyone pointed it out. She was just a young grandmother! But it did not escape her notice that her coat was changing. Her body just refused to acknowledge the change. Perhaps it was her lifestyle as a soldier that kept her mind young. Still, at the age of seven she had seen and done a lot. It was the reason she sometimes felt the way she did now; tired, but not wanting to rest. Instead she allowed herself these few moments of relaxation, laying beneath a purple tree and enjoying the sights.

Vaguely she watched others walk by, smiling at those who made eye contact with her. Such was the personality of the Marchioness. Her public face was always that of the energetic wolf she wished to be for the world, even when she didn't feel it herself. Frankly, Moons wasn't sure what brought on this sudden exhaustion. This time though, she gave in a little to it, and remained there in the shade. Perhaps the presence of another would cheer her up and spark her energy. Naturally though, she did not seek anyone out in particular. Moons as always, refused to burden others with her problems.

"Perhaps today isn't one of those days," she mumbled to herself with a small smile. Her tail thumped a few times on the ground, and her gaze lifted to the skies. From above, a small flower broke free from the branch it was on, and floated down to the wolf below. Moons watched the flower drift down, and it landed on her nose. With a small laugh, she tilted her head down so that it continued to fall onto her paws. There she held the flower in her front paws as she watched the world of Inaria drift around her, much like the flower she now held.

RE: The welcome whistle of the wind. - Ginna - November 27, 2017

T
he drift of Inaria was too slow for Ginna, her needy heart longed for action and activity which she could not obtain by just sitting on her front paws. She barely knew anyone and it had been a while since she had had a good dose of drama and trouble in her life and it was sooo hard to miss out on. Terrible! She sighed by herself and walked along a broken parth, beaten down by thousand of walks by many paws and she kicked at every rock she passed by. She hadn't imagined that Inarian life would be so dull.

She saw a few people in her walk , but not anyone that caught her interest really. It wasn't until she reached a greener area filled with the purple flowered trees that she noticed a dark red female sitting under the tree. She saw how a flower fell on to her nose and she smiled. Ginna almost wanted to puke it was all too fairy-tale wise for her, she reaaaally didn't like it, it wasn't broken and hurt enough, she wanted to do something about that. She took a few quick strides over the grass and closed the distance and looked at the red and white wolf.

"My! Aren't the trees beautiful~" She mused almost to herself and looked up at them. Her doll like face smiled, pulled those lines up but her eyes didn't shine at all. She wasn't meant for Inaria, she was too cruel, do harsh and nothing like the rest of Inaria. She wasn't kind or forgiving by nature and most wouldn't even realize. "I am Ginna!" She plumped down in front of Moons and gave her another false smile. She was already half bored by this woman, she could just sense she had nothing but old and boring tales of this place of its peace and quiet and "hardships" (HA!)

"Look I'll be honest with ya." She didn't ask for her name.

"I'm SO bored around here." She rolled on to her back and flailed with her legs for a moment, stretching them out to and then played dead in front of her. Then rolled back around and kept on smiling. Dolls couldn't wash off the smile "Let's do something crazy, shall we?" Ginna had a certain look in her eye now and grinned widely, her eyes still soullessly attached to her skull, she widened her eyes a little then stood up and bounced toward the older female. She went around her and tried to give her a well place nip in the butt and then quickly hopped backward with a grin. "Come on!" Let's get the pain starting.

Thresher - MURDOCK - November 27, 2017

It was a beautiful day outside, as was literally every other day here in Inaria.  The sun was shining, and the breeze was blowing, and even the birds were seemingly singing a different song!  Oh, wait no.. that was the same song, Murdock was just singing along.  The white wolf awooed lowly as he sang with the birds, raising his awoos when they went up, and dropping his awoos when they went down.  To much of anyones surprise, Murdock actually was a good singer, his melodies and harmonies usually only fell on deaf ears as he really had no friends, but he still sang anyway.  He was much too stubborn to be downtrodden.

Continuing his lovely songs of awoos, he was wolf skipping around when a familiar face, and a not so familiar one came into his view.  One, the familiar face, was Miss Moons.  And oh! How Murdock adored her (strictly as a platonic friend of course!) Miss Moons had been the only one to visit him when Miss Goldie had put him as a prisoner- and he did not hold that against her at all, no way jose.  Miss Moons was delightful, and wonderful- but, her face said different today.  She looked, as she did the last time he saw her, exhausted.  She seemed to always look exhausted, and that made Murdock kinda sad.  He always tried to cheer her up, and it usually worked.  So, if it worked before it will work again! So says the logic of Murdock.  But he stood for a moment, dumbfounded, which was rare for him, looking at the other whitish wolf flailing around on the ground before Miss Moons.  He cocked his head to the side, listening to what she was saying, and when he saw her go after Moons that he surged forward.

"EXCUSE YOU FIEND.  EXCUSE YOU!  CAN YOU NOT SEE THAT MISS MOONS IS VERY TIRED?"  He yelled at the wolf as he walked, with determination towards them.  "I THINK IT WOULD BE VERY WISE-" He yelled before dropping his voice and turning to Miss Moons, "-Hello Miss Moons you are looking absolutely amazing, and astounding as usual, excuse me as I address this butt biting fiend-"  Then back to the other, the butt biter "-IF YOU WERE TO GO LOOK FOR ENTERTAINMENT, AND BUTT BITING SOMEWHERE ELSE AS WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN BITING BUTTS THANK YOU!"  He said, and ended it with a snort, before turning back to Miss Moons.  He gave her a wide smile and a wink before whispering only so she could hear, "I'll save you Miss Moons, you rest, enjoy your flower it is as beautiful as you."

speech thoughts

As fate would have it, it wasn't long before another crossed her path. "My! Aren't the trees beautiful~" Moons turned her head to see another female approaching with a smile on her face. Naturally, she smiled back, but those amber eyes of hers caught the lack of shine in the other. She made no comment, not even knowing the female yet. Maybe she was just having an off day. Regardless, she had not met this Inarian yet, so she would wait and see what this one brought to the table. "I am Ginna!" It was also always possible that Moons was merely imagining things; seeing things in her overly active soldier mind. Perhaps the war had done more to her than she expected.

Either way, Moons was about to open her maw to introduce herself when she was cut off. "Look I'll be honest with ya." Her maw shut with a faint click of teeth, and the Marchioness' usual friendly smile faded a little bit. What was Ginna going to bring up? "I'm SO bored around here. Let's do something crazy, shall we?" Her legs flailed towards Moons, but the maroon female didn't flinch. When Ginna approached though, breaching the space Moons liked to have around her, that was when she lifted herself to a sitting position to have a better angle against the other female. Once Ginna went for the nip, instincts kicked in and Moons whirled in place with agility far higher than what her age implied.

With ease Moons avoided the nip, and although subconsciously her lip lifted in a warning, she smothered it within a moment. "You know, there are other way--" she was beginning to gently chastise the other when another, much more sharp voice cut in once again. "EXCUSE YOU FIEND.  EXCUSE YOU!  CAN YOU NOT SEE THAT MISS MOONS IS VERY TIRED?" That sounded like... yes, it was Murdock. Now a smile reappeared on Moons' face, seeing her friend appear out of the blue. "I THINK IT WOULD BE VERY WISE--Hello Miss Moons you are looking absolutely amazing, and astounding as usual, excuse me as I address this butt biting fiend-" It took a moment for her to smother the chuckle that threatened to emerge as Murdock effectively defended Moons against this newcomer.

"-IF YOU WERE TO GO LOOK FOR ENTERTAINMENT, AND BUTT BITING SOMEWHERE ELSE AS WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN BITING BUTTS THANK YOU!" He snorted and came over to Moons, who wagged her tail at his approach. "I'll save you Miss Moons, you rest, enjoy your flower it is as beautiful as you." As always, the male was such a gentleman. Moons pressed her nose against his cheek in a gentle thanks. "Thank you, Murdock. Your timing as always is impeccable," she told him, her tail still wagging in joy at seeing her dear friend. She knew though, that she couldn't ignore Ginna either, so she pulled away from Murdock and turned towards the female. "He is right though. What is it exactly that you want, in order to satiate your... boredom as you say?" Her tone was cool, but it was also cautious.

As gentle as Moons could be, there was still a fierce warrior beneath those amber eyes, threatening to resurface.

RE: The welcome whistle of the wind. - Ginna - December 13, 2017

T
he party was living up! She grinned as the older female rose out of the way and Ginna immediately dashed lightly forward to give her a poke with her front paws, provoking the other woman, but was stopped. The party popper of the day came forward, howling like a mad at her, calling her fiend and what-not. Honest to god his entire demeanor was like a big comical relief and she tried her absolute best to hold in her laughter, but.

"I'll save you Miss Moons, you rest, enjoy your flower it is as beautiful as you." She snorted out laughing, loudly. She laughed so hard her stomach began cramping and she curled on the middle. She had lost all control of her laughter and while Moons asked her questions Ginna almost didn't hear her. It took several minutes for her laughter to take off enough for her to be able to respond, and she still did so with a chuckle in between her words.

"You are so right, Muddock was it? I AM a bite butting fiend." She made a quick motion toward him snapping her teeth playfully in the air and grinned at him. Snap snap, biting your butt. Poor gentleman. She turned toward Moons, this time with a sparkle in her eye "Beside I don't think miss Moons needs any help, do you?" She sat down still chuckling from time to time. "Aw don't tell me you haven't heard of a friendly spar. Sides you look experienced, I am sure you could teach me a technique or two. I would like that." No - Just wanted to get in trouble.

She relaxed her shoulders and looked at them both with a face that didn't really bear witness to have done anything wrong. She was just trying to make friends after all (lies), she kept telling herself these lies as days passed, she kept forcing the faces and emotions, her face an artist's canvas. She sighed and gave a roll of her shoulders in a shrug. "I suppose neither of you want to spar then?" Disappointed. Her skin was itching, crawling, she felt like sprawling and screaming at them both, she felt like shouting, being angry but she didn't let it happen.

She contained it.
