deep in the meadow, under the willow [xenia!] - ame - October 28, 2017
| They had been given permission to stay in their territory while the Inarians gathered for the return trip. Ame appreciate the break - he would need to wrap his hands for the journey back, as he should have done on the journey in. They were sore, aching, but it wasn’t the worst that they had ever been.
And it didn’t stop him from wandering the territory with stars in his eyes, trying to take in everything he could.
He thought it was beautiful here - the trees were amazing, petals so soft he could stuff a pillow with them and sleep for ages. The scent of honeysuckle lingered on everything, and it was so quiet. Gemini was quiet too, but that depended on where you were. It was just… peaceful, here, like a little piece of the world that had been left untouched.
The small hellion didn’t know anything about Inaria, though, or the people in it, and tried to keep in mind that first impressions were hardly what they seemed. He kept a wary eye out, trusting that he and his companions were safe but still being cautious. After all, he was so small.
The Acolyte curled up under a low hanging willow, enshrouded by those beautiful lavender buds and took his pack off. He pulled a long length of cloth from within before pulling the drawstrings closed and setting it aside. Then he set about wrapping his fingers and hands, practicing the motions so he’d be able to do it quick in case they decided to leave in a hurry. He wanted to be faster - he hated being such a burden on his companions. | |
