Arda blinked up at the sky through her mess of hair, a huff of air escaping her lips to lift a pale strand up before it smacked back down on her face. “That………………….. did not go according to plan.” The spotted child was currently on her back - not entirely unusual - at the bottom of a ravine - more unusual than usual. Not entirely unexpected, considering that it was version 1.0 of this whole ‘bridge’ idea. An architect wasn’t born, after all, they were made. Learned. Taught. Whatever. She got up to her paws, shook herself out. “Okay. More posts. More support. More vines.” A pause. “Less weed during planning. Yeah.” A wince as she pulled a twig from her hair. “Just a little.” The small ravine was a nuisance in her trip too and from her garden. It kept it protected and private, sure, but walking around the damn thing every day was more irritating than anything else. So the obvious answer was to build a bridge - did she know how? Nope. That’s what figuring it out was for. And the weed. And worse comes to worse, if the bridge turned out to be a horrible, awful, no-good idea, she could just destroy it. Saturn would love that. Nebula…. not so much. Who knows with Niph, he’d probably just stare enigmatically off into the distance, long hair blowing majestically in the wind. Yeah, that sounded just about right. She picked up her pale paws, now covered with muck and mud from the bottom of the ravine, and set off in a direction, whistling absently as the ground tried to eat her with every step. She walked around this thing every day, she’d get out eventually. Probably. At some point. ![]() “NEBULAAAAA!!” Arda screeched out into the sky, just a strip above her from either side of the ravine walls. She didn’t know why her sister wouldn’t answer her, she was always there to ruin her fun! “NEEEEEBUUUUUULAAAAAAAA!!” No answer. Of course! Seriously. Always there when she didn’t want her, never there when she needed her. Of course. |
