Each morning the round Princess had watched her Father shuffle about the den as it grew smaller, as they grew bigger. His hulking figure pausing before leaving, to count over each child who lay resting behind him, and planting a sweet kiss on her Mother's cheek or head. Sometimes the King would give the girls nearby a similar kiss goodbye, and some days someone would follow behind him. This morning, it was young but thick Elias. Her long eyelashes batting upward at him as he softened at the sight of her at his side, nodding and murmuring lovingly to her.
They walked a long way that morning, farther than she had with her Family before. It wasn't long before she was plucked up and placed between his shoulders, and instructed to hold on tight as they went. Taking well worn trails through the massive purple trees, stories of the trails and Inaria coming from him as they went. How generations ago a great war of huge cats with large teeth was fought here, if you listen carefully you might hear the roars of the cats who battled and the howls of victorious ancestors. It fascinated her, and that was why Ghost passed on the (gently given) war stories from his own childhood to his young Princess named for her great Uncle.
In time it would be shown that Elias couldn't be more different than the sickly King, but today she was an innocent smiling child. With large pale eyes, and a face shape that was reminiscent of Haylyn. Who Elias had met while still squirming, fresh, and before given a name. Today, Ghost brought his Mother the child to bond with. Who was strong-willed, and spunky... Just like Haylyn.
"Mom, I brought you someone to meet." He wandered forward to her if she had approached, turning to his side to show the plump puppy sitting astride the King. As if he were her noble steed. "...This is one of your Granddaughters you met" If she wanted to pluck the child from his back, he wouldn't protest, but a warm proud smile spread over his face. "Her name is Elias. Say Hello to your Grandma Elias."
Ellie looked toward the woman "Hiiii" she gurgled in a childish voice, baby round cheeks and belly jiggling with her tail as she shuffled on Dad's back.
